Flint File Renamer

A tool for renaming multiple files at once.

In addition to simple text replacement, it supports removing text, adding prefixes or suffixes, numbering files, and batch renaming using a custom name and sequence numbers.

How to Use

  1. Click Open Folder and select the folder containing the files.
  2. Select the files you want to rename.
  3. Choose the desired renaming method under Rename Method.
  4. Enter the required text or numbering settings.
  5. Check the new file names in the preview on the right.
  6. Click Rename Selected Files to apply the changes.

Rename Methods

  • Find and Replace: Find specific text in file names and replace it with different text
  • Remove Text: Remove specified text from file names
  • Add Prefix: Add text to the beginning of existing file names
  • Add Suffix: Add text to the end of existing file names
  • Add Numbers: Add sequential numbers to existing file names
  • Name + Number: Rename files using a specified base name and sequential numbers

For methods that use numbering, you can specify the starting number and number of digits.

Example:

photo.jpg
photo_001.jpg
photo_002.jpg

travel_001.jpg
travel_002.jpg
travel_003.jpg

Run:

python renamer.py

Note: If you are using the executable (EXE) version, you do not need to run the Python command.
